Project Engineer

Field Services Project Engineer for Steam Generator Chemical Cleaning and liquid waste treatment projects at nuclear facilities. Combine operational execution, engineering, and project management across French nuclear power plant sites with global opportunities. Report to Operations Manager with functional oversight from Project/Site/Shift Managers.

Handle and lift components and heavy equipment safely; install and connect flexible hoses and piping systems; execute bolted joint assemblies to torque specifications; transfer and unload chemical products under controlled conditions; perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment; manage inventory, packaging, and securing of tools and materials; work at height in compliance with safety regulations; conduct system alignment and operational checks (pumps, boilers, compressors, valves); monitor and inspect plant systems and equipment; complete and document intervention and maintenance records; establish intervention procedures and serve as technical lead for design, manufacturing, or equipment repair projects; ensure regulatory compliance and establish technical specifications; identify improvement opportunities and contribute to experience feedback processes; assist Project Manager and Site Manager with scheduling and organization; create and update project schedules and organization charts; generate purchase requests and monitor logistics; establish project final reports; uphold Westinghouse nuclear safety, radiation protection, environmental, and quality requirements; work effectively within multidisciplinary teams with clear communication practices; maintain questioning attitude and proactively identify and manage deviations.

Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering degree (bac +5 minimum); 0 to 3 years of professional experience; proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP; knowledge of mechanics and electrical systems; electro-mechanical competency.

SCN (Safeguards and Security Certificate for Nuclear), RP (Radiation Protection), or CSQ certifications in nuclear field.

Home-based in France with 80% travel to nuclear power plant sites; work involves lifting, working at height, and handling hazardous materials.
