Principal Delivery Stream Engineer
About this role
Lead procurement for electrical and instrumentation & control (I&C) equipment on AP1000 Nuclear Power Plant projects at Westinghouse. Oversee pre- and post-PO procurement strategy and execution within the supply chain, ensuring on-time delivery, budget compliance, and technical quality across complex, cross-functional nuclear programs.
Responsibilities
- —Oversee all procurement activities (pre-PO and post-PO) for WBS 9/10 Electrical and I&C Equipment Tower on AP1000 projects
- —Develop and execute sourcing strategies considering total cost of ownership, on-time delivery, and quality
- —Lead procurement readiness activities to ensure predictive delivery during execution phases
- —Build sourcing strategies and execution plans in collaboration with Engineering, SPE, Global Procurement, and stakeholders
- —Manage supplier relationships and ensure long-term productive partnerships
- —Ensure assigned electrical equipment and components meet all applicable technical and quality requirements and delivery schedules
- —Scout the market to identify modern technologies that create value for customers
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- —Minimum 5 years of experience in contract/project administration, preferably on large, complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects
- —Demonstrated leadership skills across cultures, languages, and locations
- —Strong analytical skills with advanced problem-solving ability and ownership mentality
- —Experience managing supplier relationships and long-term partnerships
- —Experience with large and complex cross-functional projects
- —Ability to engage at all organizational levels and cultivate professional relationships
- —Strategic and analytical orientation with ability to translate strategy into operational results
- —Willingness to travel up to 20%
Location
Hybrid, based in Cranberry Township, PA; up to 20% travel required; no relocation assistance provided.
