About this role
TerraPower seeks a Senior Project Scheduler to lead planning and scheduling for advanced reactor development projects. You'll manage Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling, track progress against baselines, and drive continuous improvement of project controls in a fast-paced nuclear technology environment focused on next-generation reactor design and commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Regularly update and publish weekly master schedule progress reports, layouts, and documentation
- Identify and communicate variances from original plan and weekly baseline snapshots
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance; identify and escalate developing problem areas
- Process project change notices into P6 baseline and live schedule monthly
- Analyze critical path and constraints to determine effects of progress changes on schedule and recommend mitigation solutions
- Facilitate project review meetings and provide project planning support as assigned
- Integrate and validate teaming partners and subcontractor schedule updates
- Interact with project teams and partners to drive continual improvement of schedule controls metrics and performance indicators
- Follow up on tasks and report schedule trends and metrics
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical field
- PMP, PMI-SP, or AACE certification
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA)
- Creative thinking and process improvement mindset
Location, schedule, and travel
Onsite role. Physical requirements: prolonged sitting and typing/keyboard work; ability to lift up to 25 lbs; 0–10% travel; >8 hours/day.
