Constellation seeks an Operations Training Instructor at Dresden Nuclear Power Station (Morris, IL) to develop, implement, and evaluate nuclear licensed operations training programs for Reactor Operators (RO) and Non-Licensed Operators (NLO). This role drives personnel performance improvement through systematic training delivery and maintains currency with industry standards (INPO, NRC guidance, design changes).

Responsibilities

—Coordinate and conduct performance-based RO and NLO training programs using systematic approach to training model; prepare examinations and conduct evaluations in classroom, laboratory, OJT, and simulator environments
—Maintain training program currency by incorporating INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, NRC Bulletins/Information Notices, Constellation Nuclear Event Reports, design changes, procedure revisions, and training effectiveness data
—Conduct trainee counseling, evaluate performance, and develop individualized training programs; supervise collection and maintenance of auditable training records
—Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits; prepare audit responses
—Support fleet initiatives including refuel outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects
—Achieve SRO certification within 18 months of hire; perform emergency response and departmental coverage duties as directed

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED plus 6 years power plant operator experience, OR Associate's degree in technical/education discipline plus 4 years operator experience, OR Bachelor's degree in engineering/science plus 2 years operator experience. Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements for selection and qualification of nuclear power plant personnel. Must maintain minimum unescorted access requirements.
