About this role

Lead instructor at Calvert Cliffs Nuclear responsible for developing and delivering performance-based operations training programs using Constellation's Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) model. Direct the Clean Energy Center (CEC) operations training groups, serve as subject matter expert, and drive personnel performance improvement through training excellence while maintaining compliance with INPO, NRC, and internal standards.

Responsibilities

—Functionally direct Clean Energy Center (CEC) operations training groups
—Develop, schedule, coordinate, and conduct performance-based training programs in accordance with Constellation's Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) model
—Conduct counseling sessions for trainees, evaluate results, and develop individualized training programs
—Maintain current training programs incorporating INPO Significant Operating Experience Reports, Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), NRC Bulletins and Information Notices, and procedure changes
—Participate in NRC, INPO, and management audits and prepare responses to audit findings
—Support CEC and fleet in business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness, and special projects
—Coordinate efforts of instructors in training development and conduct, providing expertise in SAT process implementation
—Maintain comprehensive knowledge of CEC operations, disciplinary skills, and techniques to develop and conduct high-quality training
—Perform emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage support activities as assigned

Qualifications

—Current or previous SRO (Senior Reactor Operator) license OR SRO certification with 6 years of related experience (test reactor, commercial, industrial, or military power plant operator)
—2 years of training or education experience
—Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
