Nuclear Technician
About this role
Support nuclear analysis and reactor component engineering design at Westinghouse's Cranberry, PA facility. Assist engineers in technical functions including generation, assembly, and verification of nuclear data and calculations. Hybrid AWSE Union role.
Responsibilities
- —Identify engineering work requiring specialized technical skills and hands-on expertise acquired through training and experience
- —Perform data analysis, summarization, and preparation in written and graphic formats using algebraic and trigonometric calculations
- —Review computer program inputs using input sheets and validate program logic
- —Prepare and modify computer input specifications based on raw data analysis
Qualifications
- —60 college credits in engineering curriculum including 2 Math courses and 2 Physics courses, or equivalent technical coursework
- —Technical competency in nuclear analysis support functions
Desired
- —Associate's Degree with technical curriculum focus
