About this role
1-year contract role supporting strategic planning, sequencing, and scheduling of projects and operational work at a nuclear power plant. The Nuclear Planner Scheduler interfaces across plant departments (Operations, Maintenance, Engineering) to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient task completion aligned with NRC regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize project activities for plant equipment and systems
- Create clear and concise work instructions sequenced in a logical, efficient manner
- Ensure work instructions comply with industry standards and NRC regulatory requirements
- Review and interpret Engineering Change implementation requirements
- Conduct field walkdowns to identify and analyze corrective issues, modifications, and surveillance activities
- Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and support departments on work instruction requirements
- Support testing of updates to planning and scheduling applications
- Attend Site/Fleet Online/Outage and other meetings representing the department
