- Keep the design and licensing basis for the assigned area, including qualifications
- Run the physical inventory program: planning, coordination, and the data rollup
- Resolve nonconformances, operability determinations, and quality-level questions
- Perform analysis and design for facility programs and projects
- Review engineering products, including 10 CFR 70.72(c) reviews when qualified
- Answer engineering questions and mentor less experienced engineers
- Coordinate projects and report status to management
Preferred qualifications
- ANSI/ANS 8.26 criticality-safety training
- Master’s degree or PhD in physics, nuclear engineering, or chemical engineering
- PE license
- Five or more years, including two at a nuclear facility and two at a 10 CFR Part 70 licensee
- HAZOP or documented safety analysis experience
Location, schedule, and travel
Eunice, New Mexico, hybrid about 75% on site. Travel 10% or less. Controlled-area access and an L or Q clearance. On-call emergency-response duty may be required.
