Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of facility design and licensing basis in assigned electrical systems
  • Conduct equipment performance monitoring and analysis to support production capacity goals
  • Develop technical problem resolutions using established procedures, nonconformance evaluations, and operability determinations
  • Perform electrical analysis, calculations, and design work for facility programs and engineering projects
  • Develop plant modification packages and perform technical/quality reviews of engineering products
  • Conduct field inspections and walk-downs for assigned duties and general engineering observations
  • Apply industrial safety and radiological safety practices in field and engineering functions
  • Coordinate with other organizations to resolve technical issues and implement engineering solutions
  • Maintain regulatory and schedule compliance for assigned tasks

Preferred qualifications

5+ years related experience in electrical engineering.

Location, schedule, and travel

Eunice, NM. 9/80 professional work schedule with some nights/weekends required. Local/hybrid after training. 10% travel or less. On-call ERO duty (24/7) during designated team duty weeks. Radiological exposure expected.
