Maintenance Technician
About this role
Westinghouse Field Services seeks an Electrical/Electronic Maintenance Technician to develop, assemble, and maintain automatic inspection systems for nuclear applications. You will work on high-precision mechatronic equipment used in nuclear facilities, industrial, and aerospace sectors under demanding quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- —Participate in assembly, installation, and commissioning of mechatronic systems for nuclear inspection equipment
- —Adjust electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- —Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on automated inspection systems
- —Diagnose faults and propose technical solutions
- —Support customer installations and equipment deliveries at nuclear facilities
- —Analyze electromechanical system specifications and define key assembly parameters
- —Verify system designs and perform metrology tasks using Laser Tracker
- —Install factory systems and perform final integration
- —Commission, validate, and test systems before delivery
- —Assemble wiring, connectors, and electrical systems; solder connectors and assemble electrical racks
- —Interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
- —Use measuring instruments such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- —Perform quality control checks on assemblies
- —Install and maintain pneumatic and hydraulic circuits
- —Diagnose and resolve technical incidents
Qualifications
Higher technician diploma in Electrotechnical Systems and Automation, Electronic Maintenance, or Industrial Automation and Robotics; knowledge of electricity and electronics; ability to interpret electrical schematics; knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics; basic knowledge of mechanics and mechanical drawings; valid driving license; availability for national and international travel.

Location
National and international travel required; some remote work options available depending on project nature.
