About this role

Field Electronics Technician Level II supporting Westinghouse nuclear energy solutions. You will perform component-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of high-technology electronic systems in remote field environments, including power supplies, control systems, instrumentation, and electro-mechanical equipment used in nuclear facilities and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair on electronic systems in nuclear field environments
  • Conduct circuit board (PCB) diagnostics and repair using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators
  • Analyze electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and drawings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve faults in power supplies, distribution systems, control systems, instrumentation, and embedded/automated electrical systems
  • Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and calibrate welding power supply systems and EDM machining equipment
  • Refurbish and maintain electro-mechanical systems
  • Support field activities through planning and coordination of assigned tasks
  • Communicate technical and resource needs to leadership and customers

Preferred qualifications

Education and certifications in electronics or related field.

Location, schedule, and travel

Based in Manning, South Carolina with up to 50% travel to remote customer field sites.
