About this role
I&C Technician supporting Westinghouse's nuclear operations at Oconee facility (PWR, 3-unit site in Seneca, SC). You will plan, assemble, install, and repair electronic and pneumatic instruments and primary piping systems in an operating nuclear plant environment, ensuring instrumentation and control systems meet regulatory and operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Plan, layout, assemble, install and repair electronic and pneumatic instruments, including primary piping and tubing
- Select pipe type and size according to job specifications and install associated support structures and components
- Install, repair, maintain, and adjust indicating, recording and controlling instruments and test equipment
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install primary piping and tubing per technical specifications
- Read and interpret technical instructions, documentation and work plans
- Disassemble malfunctioning instruments or test equipment and examine mechanisms and circuitry for defects
- Inspect instruments and test equipment periodically and adjust calibration to ensure functioning within specified standards
- Observe and comply with all safety, nuclear, and project rules

Onsite at Oconee nuclear facility in Seneca, SC; outage contract position
