Required qualifications
- Professional school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on heat treatment operations experience
- Italian and English language proficiency (minimum B1 level)
- Availability for three-shift rotation: Monday–Friday, 6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am
About this role
Senior Heat Treatment Operator at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear fabrication site, operating furnaces and thermal treatment equipment for post-welding and localized thermal treatments on nuclear reactor components. Reports to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct prestart-up checks on heat-treating equipment and furnaces
- Prepare and configure furnace or localized thermal treatment equipment for operations
- Monitor heating and cooling cycles; adjust and control temperatures and heating times using temperature instruments and charts per project procedures
- Detect and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Manage part and furnace component positioning using manual, hoist, or crane methods
- Provide operational support to fitters
- Comply with company procedures for safety, quality, risk, and security

Monfalcone, Italy; onsite; three-shift rotation Monday–Friday (6am–2pm, 2pm–10pm, 10pm–6am)
