- Proficiency in Italian and English (minimum B1 level)
- Ability to work three-shift schedule Monday–Friday (6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am)
- Physical capability to perform manual material handling and equipment operation
About this role
Senior Heat Treatment Operator at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear fabrication site. Operate heat-treating furnaces for post-welding and localized thermal treatments on nuclear reactor components, ensuring compliance with nuclear quality and safety standards. Reports to Nuclear Fabrication Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-startup checks on furnace and localized thermal treatment equipment per nuclear fabrication procedures
- Prepare and configure furnace and thermal treatment equipment for operations
- Monitor heating and cooling cycles, adjusting temperatures and heating times to specification
- Read and verify temperature instruments and recording charts for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Detect equipment malfunctions and notify supervisors immediately; support corrective actions
- Operate hoists and cranes to position parts and furnace components safely
- Provide operational support to fabrication fitters
- Maintain compliance with nuclear safety, quality assurance, risk management, and security procedures

Monfalcone, Italy; onsite three-shift role (Monday–Friday); manual material handling and furnace operation
