- Italian and English language proficiency (B1 level minimum)
- Ability to work three-shift schedule (6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am)
About this role
Junior Heat Treatment Operator at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear fabrication facility. Operate furnaces and thermal treatment equipment for post-welding heat treatment of nuclear components. Report to Nuclear Fabrication Manager.
Responsibilities
- Conduct prestart-up checks on heat treating equipment
- Prepare furnace and localized thermal treatment equipment for operations
- Monitor heating and cooling cycles; adjust and control temperatures and heating times per project procedures
- Read temperature instruments and charts to maintain specifications
- Detect and report equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Move parts and furnace components manually or with hoists/cranes
- Support fitters in nuclear fabrication operations
- Comply with company safety, quality, risk, and security procedures
Location, schedule, and travel
Monfalcone, Italy. Three-shift onsite schedule Monday–Friday. Manual material handling and equipment operation required.
