Required qualifications

B.S. in Engineering or closely related scientific/physical discipline associated with power plant operations, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 2–10+ years relevant nuclear engineering experience depending on level (Engineer II through Senior Lead Engineer). Good to excellent communication skills and proficiency with PC applications required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain Environmental Qualification (EQ) files, supporting calculations, and maintenance/installation/configuration requirements
  • Ensure engineering programs work is performed and implemented consistent with defined codes, standards, and station license requirements
  • Develop, plan, and coordinate special projects, corrective action plans, and improvement programs to address plant problems or regulatory-sensitive issues
  • Oversee development of drawings, specifications, and detailed design for fabrication of new and modification of existing plant equipment and systems
  • Execute 10 CFR 50.59 qualification reviews and maintain design conformance with station license, codes, and standards
  • Control engineering costs through resource optimization and budget tracking; implement fleet lessons learned and good practices

Preferred qualifications

SRO license or certification on PWR or BWR; Professional Engineering (P.E.) license

Location, schedule, and travel

Onsite in Russellville, Arkansas; up to 25% travel; availability for additional hours and alternate locations during storms, outages, and emergencies required
