Engineering Analyst
About this role
Constellation seeks Engineering Analysts to support nuclear plant operations through advanced technical problem-solving, engineering analysis, and regulatory compliance. This role involves making technical decisions, managing engineering issues from assessment through resolution, and ensuring adherence to industry codes and standards. Positions available at Entry, Mid-level, and Senior levels.
Responsibilities
- —Develop, manage, and implement in-depth engineering analysis, activities, and programs in support of nuclear plant operations
- —Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system problems; manage engineering issues from initial assessment through resolution
- —Perform engineering calculations and analyses applying general engineering principles; verify compliance with design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
- —Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
- —Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or achieve regulatory compliance
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, outage activities, and assignments as directed by management
- —Ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and proper configuration management of all work
Qualifications
Entry level: 4-year technical degree OR 2-year technical degree plus 1+ years nuclear/related industry experience OR High School Diploma plus 2+ years nuclear experience. Mid-level: 4-year technical degree plus 2+ years nuclear/related experience OR 2-year technical degree plus 3+ years OR High School Diploma plus 5+ years. Senior level: 4-year technical degree plus 5+ years nuclear/related experience OR 2-year technical degree plus 7+ years OR High School Diploma plus 8+ years. Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software required.
