About this role

Strategic engineering role supporting nuclear plant operations at Constellation Energy, the nation's largest clean energy producer. You'll perform complex problem-solving, manage engineering projects, and make technical decisions in compliance with nuclear industry standards (ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014). Work includes equipment diagnostics, system analysis, emergency response support, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

—Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
—Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical involvement and consultation
—Manage engineering issues from conception to completion with full task ownership
—Perform engineering tasks applying core engineering principles under supervision
—Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management
—Apply standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes in preparation of plans and specifications
—Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects
—Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or ensure regulatory compliance
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
—Meet additional requirements outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for Nuclear Power Plant Personnel
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Pass favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
