About this role

Constellation seeks a Mechanical Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise supporting nuclear plant operations at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior levels. You'll drive engineering analysis, equipment problem-solving, and technical leadership on programs with direct impact on site safety and operations.

Responsibilities

—Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs
—Serve as subject matter expert to identify and resolve equipment and system problems affecting plant operations
—Fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability for short-term and long-term programs impacting site operations
—Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses supporting technical projects and programs
—Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, and ensure compliance with nuclear codes and regulations
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed
—Apply engineering principles and maintain adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and standards with proper configuration management

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
—Entry level: Engineering degree required
—Mid-level: 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience
—Senior: 5+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
