Constellation, the largest private-sector power producer in the U.S., operates a diverse nuclear fleet and is investing multi-billion dollars in modernization through 2030. This mid-level or senior Mechanical or Civil/Structural Engineer role supports ongoing nuclear plant operations and engineering initiatives under general supervision.

Responsibilities

—Perform mechanical, civil, and structural engineering tasks applying nuclear industry codes, safety analyses, and regulatory requirements
—Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes (ASME, NRC), engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements
—Participate in the development and implementation of effective engineering processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail
—Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures
—Support emergency response activities, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage engineering support as directed by management

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or Nuclear)
—2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Mid-level) OR 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience (Senior-level)
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Desired

—Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license
—Strong grasp of mechanical/structural systems and fundamental functions performed in nuclear operations
