About this role
Mechanical engineering role supporting nuclear plant operations at Constellation Energy, the nation's largest clean energy producer. Position available at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior level with experience-based compensation ranging $87,000–$154,000. Responsible for developing and implementing engineering analyses, resolving equipment/system problems, and ensuring compliance with nuclear regulatory standards and design criteria.
Responsibilities
- —Develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs supporting nuclear plant operations
- —Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system problems
- —Perform complete task management of engineering issues and independent research/reviews in support of technical projects
- —Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, procedures, and codes
- —Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with regulatory changes
- —Support emergency response, outage activities, and other operational duties as directed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, or Nuclear Engineering). Must maintain minimum or unescorted access requirements and pass favorable medical examination per position duties. For Mid-level (E02): 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience. For Senior (E03): 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience and must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements.
