About this role

Constellation seeks an Engineer to support nuclear plant operations through in-service inspections (ISI) and related technical engineering work. This position ensures compliance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes (ASME, NRC), and regulatory requirements. Available at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior levels; salary ranges from $87,000 to $154,000 annually based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-service inspections and non-destructive examination (NDE) activities in accordance with ASME Code Section XI and NRC requirements
  • Assure all engineering products and inspection reports comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct engineering and technical analysis tasks related to reactor vessel, piping, and component integrity
  • Respond to emergency situations, provide departmental coverage during outages, and support refueling/maintenance activities as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements as applicable
  • Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Desired

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or PE license
  • Experience with ASME Code Section XI or nuclear plant ISI programs
  • Familiarity with NRC regulations and nuclear safety culture
