About this role

Electrical/Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Systems & Components Engineer supporting Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO), a Westinghouse PWR facility. Provides technical expertise to site Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance on electrical and I&C systems, including design basis compliance, condition monitoring, troubleshooting, and regulatory support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical information on program performance requirements, compliance status, and industry operating experience to Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance personnel
  • Identify potential equipment problems through condition-based monitoring and preventive maintenance optimization via Maintenance feedback and component PM reviews
  • Develop, plan, and coordinate special projects, corrective action plans, and improvement programs to address component problems or regulatory-sensitive issues
  • Support Maintenance and Operations in component troubleshooting and provide expertise for significant events or complex plant problems
  • Support changes to assigned component configuration/design and associated design basis documentation
  • Serve on outage engineering support teams
  • Ensure fleet lessons learned and good practices are implemented across the organization
  • Attend training and maintain qualifications necessary to perform required group functions

Preferred qualifications

  • SRO (Senior Reactor Operator) license or certification on a PWR or BWR
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license

Location, schedule, and travel

Onsite at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO), Russellville, Arkansas. Up to 25% travel required. Position may be filled as Engineer I, II, III, or Senior based on qualifications and experience.
