About this role

Constellation seeks an Electrical Engineer to provide advanced technical problem-solving and engineering analysis in support of nuclear plant operations. Roles span entry, mid-level, and senior positions for engineers with strong discipline knowledge in industry codes, regulations, and electrical systems at nuclear facilities.

Responsibilities

—Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs in support of nuclear plant operations
—Provide technical expertise to identify and resolve equipment and system problems; manage engineering issues and perform assigned engineering tasks
—Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
—Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
—Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with code and regulatory changes
—Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and outage activities as directed

Qualifications

—Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
—Meet requirements outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements with favorable medical examination/testing as applicable to position duties
