About this role
Electrical design engineer at Constellation supporting nuclear plant operations. Develop and manage engineering analyses, resolve equipment and system problems, ensure compliance with industry codes and NRC regulations, and recommend improvements to performance and design.
Responsibilities
- —Develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs with in-depth technical expertise
- —Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation
- —Manage engineering issues and perform assigned engineering tasks applying core principles
- —Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
- —Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
- —Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with code/regulatory changes
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and outage activities as directed
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear)
- —5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
- —Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements for nuclear power plant personnel
- —Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access, with favorable medical examination/testing as applicable

- —Advanced technical degree or related coursework
