About this role

Support nuclear plant operations by performing electrical engineering and technical tasks under general supervision. Roles available at Entry, Mid-level, or Senior Engineer level. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety analyses, industry codes, and NRC regulatory requirements; developing and implementing engineering processes; and supporting emergency response and outage activities.

Responsibilities

—Perform electrical engineering and technical tasks applying general engineering principles under supervision
—Ensure all engineering products comply with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements
—Participate in development and implementation of effective processes and techniques in compliance with established policies and procedures
—Recommend improvements to standard processes and procedures
—Fulfill emergency response duties, department coverage, and outage support activities as assigned

Qualifications

—B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil/Structural, Industrial, or Nuclear)
—Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable
—Favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
—Mid-level: minimum 2 years nuclear or related engineering experience; must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements
—Senior: minimum 5 years nuclear or related engineering experience; must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard requirements
