- National Association of Employee Concerns Professionals Certification (or ability to acquire within 12 months)
About this role
Lead Energy Northwest's Employee Concerns Program, administering investigations into worker concerns, conducting NRC allegation research, and promoting nuclear safety culture. Responsibilities include advocating for federal compliance programs, investigating technically complex worker concerns, responding to NRC allegation requests, and facilitating nuclear safety culture assessments. Balance relationship-building with regulatory compliance to minimize misconduct and maintain organizational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Advocate for and maintain compliance program consistent with federal guidelines (10 CFR 50.5, 50.7, Section 211 of Energy Reorganization Act, NEI 09-07)
- Receive, investigate, and resolve worker concerns including technically complex issues; consult subject matter experts and refer to appropriate departments
- Receive, research, and respond to NRC allegation requests for information
- Design and administer site-wide surveys, training, and communications for compliance and concerns programs
- Facilitate nuclear safety culture promotion efforts including assessments, monitoring panel support, and feedback reviews
- Consult with management on compliance matters; conduct networking and benchmarking with other utilities
- Establish, control, and maintain program records and files in compliance with applicable regulations
- Promote ethics and compliance culture through training and staff engagement
- Serve as member of Emergency Response Team and perform pre-outage/outage assignments
