Electrical Engineer 1
About this role
Entry-level electrical engineer role at Westinghouse focused on nuclear products electrical system design, instrumentation and controls (I&C). You will develop engineering design documents, perform system design and wiring engineering, and work independently on projects while building expertise in nuclear power plant electrical systems in a hybrid Rock Hill, SC environment.
Responsibilities
- —Use software packages (Mathcad, Matlab, PSPice) for electrical system engineering analysis
- —Perform electrical system design, instrumentation and controls (I&C) designs, and system wiring engineering
- —Develop engineering design documents including calculations and specifications per nuclear standards and procedures
- —Collaborate with engineering teams to obtain project information and coordinate deliverables
- —Plan and schedule work to meet project requirements and timelines
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- —Minimum GPA 3.0
- —US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- —Willing to travel to client sites as required

- —2025 and 2026 recent graduates preferred
Location
Hybrid position based in Rock Hill, SC with travel to client sites required.
