Electrical Engineer 1
About this role
Electrical Engineer supporting nuclear power plant operations at Westinghouse's Rock Hill, SC office. You will perform engineering evaluations, analyses, and 3D/2D design work to advance nuclear safety and performance. Work with integrated project teams on clean energy solutions with occasional travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- —Perform engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services for nuclear power plant operations
- —Utilize 3D/2D design tools to support project work and develop technical solutions
- —Propose and evaluate solutions to technical challenges arising during projects
- —Prepare detailed documentation of analyses and engineering findings
- —Participate in integrated and international project teams; communicate with stakeholders
- —Travel occasionally to customer sites and industry group workshops to gather and present technical information
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- —Minimum 3.0 GPA
- —Familiarity with 3D and 2D design tools
- —Familiarity with IEEE and IEC codes
Desired
- —Familiarity with nuclear power plant design and operations
Location
Rock Hill, SC; hybrid (2–3 days per week onsite); occasional travel to customer sites and industry workshops
