Early Career Rotation Program Engineer

A 3-to-6-month rotational development program for recent engineering graduates at Ameren, a major US energy company. Rotate through nuclear, fossil, renewable, and corporate business units to build technical expertise in power generation, grid operations, and nuclear safety. Participate in creation and execution of increasingly complex projects across multiple strategic business areas (nuclear operations, engineering, transmission/distribution)

Support project development and conduct research to inform key business decisions

Develop internal networks and relationships to support career advancement within the organization

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Civil, Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Nuclear, or related field) from accredited university

Graduation date no more than 7 months prior to June 2026

Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; effective teamwork with diverse stakeholders

Self-starter mentality in fast-paced environments with strong organizational skills

Receptive to feedback and motivated to lead and influence

Successful completion of Ameren Internship or Co-op program within past two years with demonstrated strong performance

One year of professional-level or internship engineering experience

Willingness to take calculated risks and embrace innovation
