Automatic Welder (Middle)

Automatic Welder (Middle) position at Westinghouse's Monfalcone nuclear fabrication facility. Perform welds on nuclear components using automatic processes (SAW, ESW), operate automatic welding equipment, monitor welding parameters, verify component preparation, and identify/report defects. Report to Nuclear Fabrication Manager.

Perform welding operations using automatic processes (SAW, ESW) and automatic welding equipment on nuclear components

Record essential welding parameters using welding monitoring templates and verify compliance with Welding Process Specifications (WPS)

Verify proper preparation of components and surfaces before welding operations

Identify defects in equipment, materials, and welds; report findings to supervisors

Position and move parts manually or using hoists and cranes

Comply with company safety, quality, risk, and security procedures

Professional school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Automatic Welder

Proficiency in WPS (Welding Process Specifications)

Knowledge of Italian and English languages (minimum B1 level)

Ability to work three-shift schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am)

Monfalcone site, Italy; onsite three-shift work Monday–Friday (6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am); manual material handling and crane operation required
