Sr Mgr Maintenance Execution
About this role
Senior Manager overseeing the Maintenance Department at a Constellation nuclear power station. Direct responsibility for planning, directing, and monitoring maintenance activities across multiple shops (EMD, Instrument Maintenance, Mechanical, Mechanical/Chemistry) to ensure safe, efficient, compliant operations. Reports to Station Senior Management and manages both internal and external contract maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities
- —Plan, direct, and monitor all Maintenance Department activities across EMD, IMD, MMD, and MMC shops during all operational modes (online, forced outages, refueling, power reductions)
- —Administer and oversee all maintenance contract personnel, both internal and external
- —Maintain plant structures and facilities in safe condition through effective personnel and resource management
- —Establish and execute continual assessment programs to ensure maintenance excellence per ANSI/ANS, site, corporate, and industry standards
- —Develop and implement policies ensuring conformance with NRC regulatory, insurance, quality, and Constellation Nuclear requirements
- —Collaborate with Station Senior Management on strategic plans, business initiatives, staffing strategies, and corporate goals
- —Support emergency response, departmental coverage, and outage activities as directed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science with 10+ years overall experience (4+ years power plant, 2+ years nuclear power plant, 1+ year supervisory/managerial); OR Associate's degree meeting ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 equivalency with 12+ years overall experience (4+ years power plant, 2+ years nuclear power plant, 1+ year supervisory/managerial). Must meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.3.4) Standard requirements for nuclear power plant personnel. Maintain minimum access or unescorted access as applicable. Pass favorable medical examination per position duties.
Desired
Managerial experience in a Maintenance discipline (EMD, IMD, or MMD); Current or prior Senior Reactor Operator License; Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science
Location
On-site at nuclear power station; shift work and outage support responsibilities required
