Supply Chain Component Site Manager
About this role
Lead supply chain and procurement operations at Westinghouse's Shoreview, MN site for engineered nuclear components. Oversee procurement teams, manage supplier performance and on-time delivery, drive capacity planning, and serve as primary liaison between site operations and Westinghouse Business Systems (WBS) organization.
Responsibilities
- —Provide direct leadership to procurement project managers, buyers, and supplier performance engineers
- —Serve as primary link between site and WBS organization, translating operational needs into supply chain structure
- —Act as WBS Manager for commodities produced at the site
- —Lead capacity planning including forecasting, bottleneck identification, and supplier capability assessment
- —Oversee supplier on-time delivery, schedule adherence, production milestones, inspection readiness, and documentation compliance
- —Represent site in WBS planning meetings, program reviews, and supply chain readiness assessments
- —Provide matrix direction to on-site supplier quality engineers and sourcing specialists
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or related field; 8+ years of supply chain/procurement experience in engineered products; proven leadership of supplier quality, sourcing, and planning functions; proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred); strong escalation management and supplier development expertise.
Location
Onsite in Shoreview, MN. Reports to Director of Major Mechanical, APX Supply Chain with matrix reporting to site leader.
