About this role
Supervisor responsible for overseeing maintenance planners and coordinating daily work activities at a nuclear generation facility. This role ensures work packages are planned according to 10 CFR 50.59, company QA Manual, and regulatory requirements while developing and coaching assigned planning staff.
Responsibilities
- —Supervise Maintenance Planners for scheduled and emergent work during online and outage conditions
- —Assign, coordinate, and execute daily work activities to support Maintenance Planning goals in accordance with QA Manual, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations
- —Provide supervisory oversight for planning of work packages to be performed by Maintenance departments
- —Ensure work packages are planned in accordance with facility procedures and maintain the station in safe and reliable condition
- —Review and approve all required work packages, including 10 CFR 50.59 screening or evaluation if required
- —Verify work instructions comply with applicable facility procedures including Nuclear Safeguard Protocols, ASME Code, and other regulatory standards
- —Prepare and revise work instructions providing direction for maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, surveillances, and modifications
- —Provide development opportunities and coaching for planners to drive individual and department improvement
- —Input to performance reviews for assigned planners and provide coaching/counseling when required
- —Interface with Work Management, Supply, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package issues
- —Perform internal trending of planner performance and required Corrective Action Program products
- —Fill in for Manager Maintenance Planning in their absence
- —Perform other job assignments as directed by management, including emergency response and outage support
Qualifications
- —Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related nuclear experience, OR
- —Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 4 years of related experience, OR
- —Associate's degree with 6 years of related nuclear experience, OR
- —High school diploma/GED with 8 years of related nuclear experience
- —Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties
