Required qualifications
High school diploma or GED with 6 years related experience, OR Associate's degree in technical discipline with 4 years related experience, OR Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 2 years related experience. Ability to maintain access requirements and pass favorable medical examination/testing.
About this role
Supervise the Instrumentation & Control (I&C) maintenance division at a Constellation nuclear power facility. Ensure safe and compliant execution of maintenance work per NRC regulations and company procedures. Lead craft personnel, manage training and qualifications, coordinate with schedulers and planners, and support operational excellence during normal operations and outages.
Responsibilities
- Supervise craft personnel performing I&C maintenance activities safely and effectively per CEC procedures, NRC regulations, and schedules
- Ensure personnel are properly trained, qualified, and maintain emergency plan qualifications; administer coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Participate in work control, coordination, scheduling, and engineering meetings for online operations, load reductions, forced outages, and refuel outages
- Understand and administer Maintenance processes including training, surveillance, procedure revisions, and Corrective Action Program (CAP)
- Supervise vendor inspections and repairs; ensure effective procurement and use of materials, parts, tools, and M&TE
- Foster open communication with internal/external organizations including INPO and regulatory agencies; communicate company programs and policies to assigned employees
- Participate in Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient operation; identify and support improvement opportunities
Preferred qualifications
3 years minimum experience in nuclear power plant operations. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. Proficiency with electronic work management systems.
Location, schedule, and travel
On-site at Clean Energy Center (Constellation nuclear power facility). Participation in emergency response and on-call duties as needed.
