Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, communicate, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs for turbine-generator systems
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through technical expertise, consultation, and independent research and analysis
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work through proper configuration management and verification of standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes
- Recommend equipment modifications, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or comply with NRC regulatory changes
- Enforce procedure use, adherence to Human Performance fundamentals, and Technical Human Performance techniques
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to achieve continuous improvement
Preferred qualifications
Professional Engineer Registration; Advanced technical degree or related coursework
