Senior Turbine Equipment Specialist at Constellation's nuclear Clean Energy Centers. Lead technical decision-making, engineering analysis, and troubleshooting for turbine generator operations. Mentor teams, enforce nuclear procedures and Human Performance fundamentals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, communicate, and implement engineering analysis, activities and programs
- Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation and involvement
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work with proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, procedures, and applicable codes
- Perform independent research, reviews, studies and analyses in support of technical projects and programs
- Recommend equipment improvements, new concepts, and techniques to enhance performance, reduce costs, correct design flaws, or ensure regulatory compliance
- Enforce procedure use, Human Performance (HP) fundamentals, and Technical Human Performance (THP) techniques
- Provide coaching and mentoring to achieve continuous improvement
Preferred qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework
