Site Manager - Susquehanna
About this role
Westinghouse Site Manager overseeing all daily operations at Susquehanna Nuclear Station, including maintenance, projects, radiation protection, security, and station support. Lead a team of WEC staff, contractors, and subcontractors across routine operations, planned outages, and emergent work scopes. Serve as primary liaison to station management and ensure compliance with safety, ALARA, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- —Oversee daily operations of Westinghouse work at Susquehanna including Maintenance, Projects, Radiation Protection, Site Security, and station support organizations
- —Manage site operations during outage, planned, and emergent scopes of work; supervise WEC site staff and ensure sufficient qualified personnel are available
- —Coordinate direct hiring of personnel and craft; provide oversight of subcontractors on site
- —Manage assigned scope of work and command and control of first-time evolutions; supervise and monitor work control process for WEC activities
- —Serve as primary interface with station management staff, hold scheduled meetings with Site VP and/or Plant Manager
- —Ensure compliance with site Safety Program and accountability for WEC safety and ALARA goals; spend considerable time in field observing work activities
- —Identify cost reduction measures and opportunities for improvement; develop and implement solutions to productivity issues
- —Handle financial reporting responsibilities and maintain current listing of all WEC personnel, contractors, and consultants with emergency contact information
Qualifications
- —7+ years of Nuclear Maintenance/Construction Management demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and performance
- —Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
- —Technical knowledge of major component replacements, work processes, and equipment utilized in the nuclear industry
- —General Safety and OSHA regulations knowledge
- —Building Trades labor management knowledge
- —Basic labor contract requirements knowledge

- —Equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree
Location
Onsite at Susquehanna Plant, Salem Township, PA; considerable field time required
