Senior Project Manager
About this role
Senior Project Manager at Westinghouse responsible for leading nuclear energy projects from planning through execution. Manage project lifecycles, coordinate cross-functional engineering and quality teams, and ensure adherence to schedule and cost baselines while driving continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- —Write and establish project plans with planning and cost baselines
- —Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, quality specialists, suppliers, and project controllers
- —Interpret and communicate project/contract requirements and amendments through change management processes
- —Provide training, mentoring, and support to project team members
- —Execute project missions efficiently while maintaining schedule and cost performance
- —Establish and communicate project progress and financial parameters to management
- —Resolve conflicts related to contract clause interpretation with clients and contract managers
- —Maintain project databases, systems, and procedures for documentation management
- —Conduct final quality assessments and identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BAC+5) or equivalent in project management, engineering, or related technical discipline. 4+ years of experience in project/program management in the nuclear sector. In-depth knowledge of project management methodology and ability to coordinate multiple team members. Knowledge of company functions (finance, quality, procurement). Westinghouse Project Manager qualification required. Fluency in English.
