Senior Project Manager
About this role
Senior Project Manager supporting the design and analysis of operating plant NSSS modifications and long-term operations support for nuclear plants across the Americas. Lead medium-sized teams (10–30 members) managing moderate to high complexity projects, report to the Project Portfolio Manager, and oversee cost estimates, proposals, and customer negotiations for nuclear plant modifications and support services.
Responsibilities
- —Manage end-to-end project management processes for moderate to high complexity projects or portfolios of lower complexity work
- —Lead medium-sized teams (10–30 members) and acquire team members per department protocols
- —Develop cost estimates, proposals, and offers for operating plant support and modifications; guide customer negotiations
- —Author project management plans, develop scope/schedule/cost baselines and risk registers per Westinghouse Project Management Requirements (WPMR)
- —Manage and integrate all project aspects (scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, partners)
- —Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements and changes using integrated change management processes
- —Close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems
- —Perform final project quality assessment and identify lessons learned and risk avoidance opportunities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related technical discipline. 8+ years of experience, with minimum 3–5 years as a project manager leading and directing low to moderate complexity projects to successful completion. Experience as project manager in a technical industry such as engineering, manufacturing, nuclear, or construction.
Location
Hybrid position, 2 days in office per week; Cranberry, PA
