About this role
Senior Project Engineer supporting Westinghouse AP1000 nuclear reactor projects. Coordinate engineering deliverables, manage change control processes, mentor junior engineers, and work with cross-functional teams on remote basis.
Responsibilities
- —Coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects, contractual tasks, and deliverables
- —Assist Project Manager with change control processes including scope requests and scheduling
- —Work with external and internal teams to determine satisfaction of commercial and technical requirements
- —Support execution of assigned tasks and mentor novice engineers
- —Partner with Project Manager and other functional disciplines on project delivery
- —Review and support delivery of engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions
Qualifications
- —BS degree in Engineering or relevant field
- —4+ years of experience in engineering roles (design, project, manufacturing, or quality)
- —Familiarity with technical requirement management
- —Familiarity with nuclear industry standards, rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
- —Ability to work with multiple disciplines
Desired
- —Prior Westinghouse AP1000 knowledge
- —Project management experience
