Lead Fabrication Follow-Up Engineer at Westinghouse, serving as primary technical interface between Supply Chain and Engineering for nuclear component manufacturing. Provides technical guidance on design and fabrication, resolves production issues, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures compliance and schedule adherence throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate review and approval of engineering documents and drawings through Engineering
- Serve as primary technical interface across internal engineers, supply chain, and management
- Field technical questions on design and fabrication, providing guidance to resolve issues
- Lead cross-functional workstreams and adjust priorities to maintain progress against program objectives
- Review supplier technical proposals against project requirements and lead deviations to resolution
- Manage WPRO document workflows (Forward, Bypass, Transfer actions) and reinforce document control discipline
- Partner with Commercial and Delivery Stream Engineers to ensure technical compliance, document traceability, and manufacturing execution
- Mentor and develop team members to elevate technical proficiency
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid at Rock Hill, SC facility with remote flexibility and regular on-site collaboration.
