Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Construction Management, or related technical discipline. Minimum 5 years of project controls experience in the nuclear industry or similar technical environment. Demonstrated experience in both cost control and scheduling, with knowledge of project controls reporting and engineering controls. Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, and Excel.
About this role
Lead project controls for Westinghouse's nuclear energy projects on the Instrumentation and Controls Systems team. Manage cost and schedule controls, develop project baselines, track integrated metrics across the full project lifecycle, and report to the Manager of ICS Project Controls.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and plan project controls aspects including baseline schedule development, resource loading, risk register integration, and project baselines
- Apply project controls tools (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP, Excel) to optimize performance and reduce inefficiencies
- Monitor, track, and control cost and schedule throughout project lifecycle; support forecast estimation and verify actual progress against planned milestones
- Analyze schedule and cost data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Present project status, deviations, and root causes at project and management reviews
- Serve as project controls point of contact for internal and external customers; integrate project objectives across teams
Preferred qualifications
Experience in risk management and change control. Advanced communication, cross-cultural awareness, and leadership skills.
Location, schedule, and travel
Westinghouse Warrendale, PA facility; hybrid (2–3 days on-site per week)
