About this role
Senior Program Manager overseeing AP1000® new build projects for Westinghouse Global Engineering Services. Manage planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination for new nuclear plant opportunities with primary focus on VC Summer expansion. Report to Deputy Project Director at Cranberry Township, PA headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans detailing scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation for AP1000® new plant construction projects
- Ensure project objectives are achieved within agreed-upon timelines, budgets, and quality standards while monitoring progress and initiating corrective actions
- Lead communication and collaboration across internal team members, utility customers, equipment vendors, and external partners to maintain alignment and promote Westinghouse's nuclear industry reputation
- Evaluate project risks, identify potential cost and schedule issues, and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize delays, cost overruns, and quality deviations
- Support business development and bid/tender processes for new nuclear build opportunities
Preferred qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; direct nuclear industry experience (preferred but not required)
Location, schedule, and travel
Hybrid role based in Cranberry Township, PA (Westinghouse Global Engineering Services headquarters) with regular on-site collaboration required
