About this role
Remote contract role supporting Westinghouse's nuclear operating plant obsolescence programs. Provide engineering solutions for commercial nuclear power plant systems and components, including Item Equivalency Evaluations, Commercial Grade Dedication assessments, and compliance guidance to utility clients.
Responsibilities
- Create and submit engineering documentation including Item Equivalency Evaluations, Commercial Grade Dedication Packages, and Material Master Classifications
- Resolve Procurement Engineering holds on nuclear components and systems
- Work within project constraints to meet project delivery deadlines for obsolescence programs
- Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to improve group capability on nuclear power plant technology
- Provide technical guidance to utility clients on regulatory compliance strategies and component qualification
