Senior I&C Field Service Project Manager
About this role
Senior Field Service Project Manager for Westinghouse's Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) team, managing medium to high complexity industrial control system installation and upgrade projects for nuclear facilities. Lead cross-functional teams of 16+ members across multiple concurrent projects while developing deep expertise in nuclear I&C systems, safety culture, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- —Complete all aspects of project planning including authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines
- —Manage all project dimensions including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and stakeholders
- —Lead and acquire team members (average >16) to complete assigned work based on project requirements
- —Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements and changes to functional groups following integrated change management processes
- —Coordinate project communications to keep all stakeholders informed of status
- —Maintain project databases, systems, and procedures for efficient documentation and correspondence handling
- —Participate as primary author and reviewer of project procedures
- —Close projects by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems
- —Perform final project quality assessment and report findings
- —Communicate lessons learned, opportunities for improvement, and risk avoidance strategies
- —Lead projects in accordance with nuclear safety culture and Westinghouse policies
- —Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project execution, tooling, and services
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of Project Management experience, or 3 years of Project Management experience with 2 years in a technical role.
Location
New Stanton, PA; 30-40% travel required; in office 2 days per week when not traveling
