Senior Customer Solutions Manager
About this role
Lead nuclear fuel business development for Westinghouse's AP1000 new plant contracts in the Americas. Capture fuel sales opportunities exceeding $250M, manage complex contract negotiations, and drive growth in the nuclear fuel market. This remote role requires deep knowledge of AP1000 design, nuclear utility procurement processes, and fuel product offerings.
Responsibilities
- —Develop and lead capture strategy for AP1000 fuel contracts, identifying bundling opportunities and cross-coordinating products to present customer-oriented solutions
- —Negotiate contracts with clients through final signature, coordinating alignment across Account Managers, Solutions Management, Product Management, Legal, Finance, and supporting organizations
- —Lead customer presentations on AP1000 fuel technology and offerings
- —Build and maintain relationships with customer Fuel organizations, understanding customer strategies and needs
- —Oversee management of opportunities and CRM tool upkeep for associated opportunities
- —Lead LOA and offer processes within Westinghouse, obtaining agreement from key partners to ensure offerings meet target goals and customer needs
- —Integrate with APX organization and align with EMEA fuel organization to support AP1000 fuel strategy
- —Grow non-AP1000 fuel sales into the non-Westinghouse OEM market as determined by Nuclear Fuels staff
- —Work with Product Management and Account Management to define target price and target costs
Qualifications
- —Bachelor of Science degree
- —10 years of experience working at or with nuclear utilities
- —On-site nuclear plant experience in a utility position or customer-facing vendor role
- —Knowledge of nuclear utility buying processes
- —Knowledge of nuclear fuel product line
- —Experience with AP1000 plant design and operations
- —Business development experience
- —Experience leading moderate complexity contract negotiations (>$100M)
- —Financial experience
- —Management experience
