Senior Buyer

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years' experience in operational supply chain, nuclear or technical areas. Knowledge of P2P (Procure to Pay), Record to Report, Order to Cash, Make to Order/Manufacture processes.

Senior Buyer for Westinghouse nuclear supply chain. Manage procurement of nuclear components, materials, and services; negotiate supplier contracts; optimize costs; and maintain the Approved Supplier List. Report to Supply Chain Operations Team Lead in Blairsville, PA.

Support RFQ/RFP process including pricing, delivery, and Terms & Conditions negotiations. Manage procure-to-pay process from supplier engagement through Purchase Order issuance and issue resolution. Manage on-time deliveries with suppliers and coordinate with internal clients including plants and projects. Create and maintain new vendors in the Approved Supplier List. Explore and evaluate alternate sources for goods and materials. Conduct risk analysis of suppliers considering material cost trends and capacity constraints. Facilitate contract change activities and resolve scope/cost increases, net terms, and supplier disputes. Guide cost savings initiatives and supplier claims resolution. Coach junior supply chain professionals and Buyers. Coordinate work to meet volume and plant requirements.

Supply Chain or Business degree. Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly or distribution of equipment and associated suppliers. Experience with SAP MRP, Material Masters, Purchasing Info Records (PIRs), Source Lists, and Purchase Order automation processes.
