RS Product Line - Project Manager
About this role
Lead project delivery across Westinghouse's nuclear energy portfolio, coordinating multidisciplinary teams (engineering, quality, procurement, supply chain, project controls) to meet schedules, budgets, quality standards, and contractual commitments. Manage projects ranging from low-complexity independent efforts to complex work packages within enterprise programs.
Responsibilities
- —Develop project plans with schedule and cost baselines; monitor performance and proactively manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk issues
- —Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and communicate project/contract requirements to functional teams; manage changes through established processes
- —Work with customers and internal stakeholders to maintain alignment; support contract interpretation and resolution with Contract Managers
- —Identify emerging technical, regulatory, or operational issues impacting delivery; develop mitigation and recovery plans
- —Coach and mentor project team members; foster cross-functional collaboration
- —Maintain project databases, documentation, and systems; provide regular progress, performance, and financial reports to management
- —Conduct project closeouts, quality assessments, and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). Minimum 2 years project/program management experience (Project Manager level); 4 years (Senior Project Manager); 5 years (Principal Project Manager). Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices. Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and concurrent activities. Knowledge of business functions: Finance, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering. Fluent English.
Desired
Project management experience within the nuclear industry; experience in complex technical or nuclear environments; additional language fluency.
