Regulatory Analyst - New Nuclear
About this role
Support licensing for new nuclear development projects by ensuring conformance with Nuclear Regulatory Commission codes and standards. Interface with Engineering, Project, and federal regulatory organizations to communicate site characterization and permitting activities for novel reactor designs.
Responsibilities
- —Support development of general licensing documents including white papers, topical reports, and construction permit application reports, including peer reviews and validation packages
- —Coordinate NRC interface and correspondence; support responses to NRC feedback and audits with Licensing staff and vendor contractors
- —Provide lifecycle support (development, peer/regulatory review, implementation) and maintenance of licensing basis documents in a data architecture structure under supervision of Licensing and Data Architecture leadership
- —Provide technical advice and counsel on management and development of regulatory policies, programs, plans, and procedures within a licensing team
Qualifications
Regulatory Analyst III: Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline and 8+ years in a nuclear environment with licensing/regulatory exposure; OR Associate's degree and 10+ years in nuclear (5+ in licensing/regulatory); OR High school diploma/GED and 12+ years in nuclear (6+ in licensing/regulatory). Regulatory Analyst II: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in nuclear with licensing/regulatory exposure; OR Associate's degree and 7+ years in nuclear (4+ in licensing/regulatory); OR High school diploma/GED and 9+ years in nuclear (5+ in licensing/regulatory). Regulatory Analyst I: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in industrial work with licensing/regulatory exposure; OR Associate's degree and 6+ years in nuclear (3+ in licensing/regulatory); OR High school diploma/GED and 8+ years in nuclear (4+ in licensing/regulatory).
